    Let me say something .. The So called Russian Defensive systems, countermeasure suites, Jamming pods are all in effective, when dealing with an American air to air missile even engaged from longer range.

    Oh Shanti Shanti ...Don't cry Russia

    Russian jet Su-24 has crashed on the Turkish-Syrian border, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
    "Su-24 of the Russian aviation group has crashed in the Syrian Arab Republic after alleged fire from the ground," the Russian Defense Ministry stated.

    According to the preliminary reports, the plane was gunned down from the ground.

    The Su-24 bomber jet was in Syrian airspace at the altitude 6,000 meters, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

    The pilots were reportedly able to parachute out of the jet before it crashed.

    Do the rebels even have weapons to shoot down a Su-24 at 6000 mts? Sounds strange

    Good, now the Russians have the option to deploy SAM's in that part of Syria and create a no-flying zone. This has given legitimacy for Russia to shoot down any plane from Turkey bordering Syria.
    If they have already created a no-fly zone, then this just gives them the thumbs up to shoot missiles. Turkey just shot itself.
    Everyone already knows Turkey's dubious role in supporting ISIS. They just gave Russia a freehand. And if any one is in an illusion that Russia/Putin will let this pass, then wake up please.

    @pmaitra @gadeshi @Cadian @kshatriya et al

    Interesting news coming from Syria.

    Looks like Turki is showing their support for the ISIS buddies.

    We already know they provide financial and material support & refuge (Free movement of ISIS from Syria to turki and vice versa.)
    Now military support too.

    Turki should better be ready for backlash.

    Oh and ignore the half a dozen posts in the beginning, resident zionist is jumping with joy. lol
