Iran is in demographic decline. It's total fertility rate is 1.6 children per women compared to porki 3.5!! Irani population will start declining soon . Oil prices will keep falling in the long term so the most potent tool of Iran economy is already under stress. Iran will never be a great power despite all it's illusions it will always be a midget power.

In the era of human replacement by machines of repeatable menial jobs in industry,human pop is not a huge advantage.infact too much will be a disadvantage.china and India should watch out for what they will do when a massive chunk of their pop who are low iq and who can only do those types of jobs are suddenly left with no option.pakistan is already over due to this.they will become400 mil pop country and they will not be able secure jobs for their pop.

Pakis will sleep with anyone and everyone against India. It is not a zero sum game. Having a 'friendly' regime in Iran will solve a large chunk of the Baloch problem for them. They can sell this to China as securing the region for CPEC. How Russia fits in, I don't know.

Russia want Iran ,and current Syrian crisis shows they are growing as strategic partner , China for now want to use Russia's strategic partnership with many nation as a successor of USSR as a asset of his own to create an Anti-USA block and step by step capturing leadership of the block effectively from Russia with ever growing and strong economy.

So Iran will be a very powerful future asset of Chini-Russia block towards which Pakistan try to shift themselves...

No condition can guarantee a Pak friendly govt in Iran ,even Afghan Taliban ,a puppet of ISI refuse to acknowledge Durand line when they are in power...

Any change in Iran will bring uncertainty to Pak for sure , like Afghanistan,88 ...pakis are the one who have to suffer the leftover of anything wrong happens in Iran..Q is to whom in future they gonna blame for it , China or US ?

Middle East will implode whether or not Trump does anything. Oil empire is falling. Economic growth is gone. Govt are under severe stress whether it's Saudi barbaria or irani mullah . Read my post above. Irani youth age is already passed. It's already past it's prime.
It now has an aging and declining population.

It is still majorly dependent on oil which is going kaput. Gas can save it for a while .

To grow from here Iran needs Technical , economical revolution which are not possible under Islamic mullah. If Iran has to survive mullah have to go either from within or from outside.

Having more percentage of population as old is never an advantage machine or not. To survive in era of technological changes a nation needs younger population who can adapter technology. India is young. Youth literacy is already above 90%. We will adapt with machines.

This low iq thing is a result of lack of formal education in India which is fast dissapering. As people are exposed to education iq shoots up.

Another aspect is the reaction of Iran itself. Trump dumping the Obama deal means Iran will also restart its nuclear program and will weaponise even more quickly.
Secondly the way Russia came in directly to support Assad means it will not allow Iran to go down. The stakes are just too high. Iran is the Shia leader just as Saudi are Sunni leaders. In Syria US and Russians came almost head to head few times but Iran is different level altogether. IMO Trump wants everyone to go nuclear. Armtwisting NK is leading to weaponising of Japs and SK. Similarly he wants Iran to go nuclear which will definitely lead to open arms show by Israel too. Seems he wants a destabilised World which keeps the US mil Ind complex alive and well oiled

KSA will totally be against a U.S action on Iran /s. This is obviously Saudi visit to China and Russia paying off, not Trump's visit to SA. And more than India, it will be a test of Pakistan's loyalties. Will it betray SA and US? or will it backstab Iran? Iran is no Afghanistan.

Ksa and Pakistan have a unique strategic relatiinship. Ksa will be part of Pakistan CPEC strategy in the long term. Pakistan will maintain a minimum relationship with USA and it is now aligned with China and Soon KSA will join the alliance but KSA will also use USA to sanction IRAN but sanction cant stop IRAN to make a bomb so Iran will be a nuclear state in coming years.
