too many sticky threads!!!

hi Mods,
Currently there are too many sticky thread floating around.
many have been posted for over a week.
this reduces desirability of site.
for people like me like to post in threads in which hot conversation is going on.
can you please prune the number of sticky threads.

yes as rule we have just 5 sticky , while recently there is some merge of forums so many sticy around , mods will take action to fix it , thanks
