Tibet has a claim on Arunachal Pradesh too

I got to see an old copy of the marathi newspaper LOKSATTA in which an interview of the Dalai Lama was published .

He said that if Tibet ever becomes independent , it will claim Arunachal Pradesh as its territory just like China does now .

He said Arunachal Pradesh was Tibetian , not Indian . I forgot the exact date of the newspaper , but it was in the nineties---over 15 years ago .

What do you guys think about that ?

Can't give an opinion of speculated saying.

Won't be fair to the Dalai Lama if he has not said so.
