I love the poetical allusions - sea of fire!

Will fire last in water? :taunt1:

Assuming Moses existed and did that, what would he do, if he were a communist? He wouldnt have prayed to the god...

NoKo, it seems, are threatening with a sea of fire that matches the sea of water...

Why does NK love to talk in an 'amusing' way? NK is absolutely no match of SK+US militarily. Most of NK air / naval hardwares are outdated. NK has to exercise kind of brinkmanship to ward off 'provocations'. And NK does back its sea-of-fire language up with punches abv it weight
the first anniversary of a North Korean artillery bombardment of the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong
Is that rhetoric working? SK's capital Seoul is only about 40 km distance from the bordering DMZ, with a 10Mil population abt 1/5 of SK total, needless to mention Inchon in the proximity.

It is true that NK is not in the league of the US or SK.

However, the problem is that NK is also has an irresponsible and erratic governance.

That is why the rhetoric emanating from NK raises concern.

The thread title alludes to the fact that if something bad happened to KS, most Americans would only miss their electronic devices.

NKorea has like 20000 artillery pieces including some very big 180mm-caliber guns. As the korea peninsular is very mountainous much like Kosovo or Bosnia, it won't be easy for US to take them out. S.Korea also has the misfortune of having its capital and largest city Seoul located almost right on the border. If war breaks out again, regardless who came out a winner, south korean economy will lie shattered in ruines.
