wat role does an OPV play at the war time?????

They are small naval vessels, mainly for coastal defence and petrol.

This class can stay at sea for two months without any new supply and has range of nearly 6000 kms.

Nope, unless it is Srilanka.

Yes, they can be, they can act as support ships for larger vessels at time of war, protection of oil rigs, protection of convoys etc.
They are not meant to engage other larger vessels.

1 x OTO Melara 76 mm gun
2 x AK-630 (30 mm Close-in weapon systems (CIWS)
6 x self-protection chaff launchers fire-control system

Now what one can expect form it in war!

But still they are there for border protection roles, anti-piracy, routine naval patrols and rescue operations.

Dont know about accuracy, but wiki says that they can be converted to frigate role in times of conflict

Yes they can be be fitting with 8 anti ship missiles or/and Anti submarine warfare suite, like torpedoes.
But this not what they are intended for, they are Offshore Petrol ships they are bigger because they are meant to remain at sea for longer time and cover larger area.

Not sure about AShM but they can carry 324 mm LWT and Towed array sonar in addition to heliborn sonar. With something like Khukri to complement them pretty decent option for coastal defense.
