The US military tried to smuggle weapons to Ukraine through Austria

The airport of Vienna the Austrian police arrested nine US military, who flew to Ukraine with powerful firearms, according to the Austrian newspaper Kurier. The incident occurred a few days ago.
Soldiers were sent on a mission to Ukraine and were carrying pistols and assault rifles, M16, and neither one barrel of Americans did not have permission. Even RT admit it's an exercise though, not arming the Ukraine. As @Akim says, it'd be different if it's a load of Jevelins rather than personal weapons on an exercise.
