The dishonour of being slighted by history

    Gen JJ Singh (Retd) makes a strong case to indicate that those Indians who fought in the Great War were no mercenaries.

    It would be wrong to forget them from the annals of Indian history he enunciates very lucidly.

    Yes true. All the Indian soldiers who fought in both the World Wars deserve honour and respect. Who are we to judge them so long after they have passed away. They too had family's to feed and did their duty as best as they could. Hence, they deserve honour and respect.
