Indeed, the Chinese Communist cannot ever have the moral authority that the Dalai Lama has.

The Chinese Communists through the State Power ride roughshod over the people of China and can force them to act, but shorn of the State Power, they are but paper dolls in the wind, buffeting without aim or direction.

On the other hand, the Dalai Lama without any State and without any Power, can sway, if he wants the Tibetans in Tibet, which is still rebelling against the vicelike grip of CPC and their attempt to make the Tibetans,Han Chinese.

That is the power of morality.
