Activision Soars After Accord to Buy Out Vivendi Holding - Bloomberg

With this deal, China's Tencent will be the largest shareholder in Activision-Blizzard, the owner of popular video game franchises such as Call of Duty, Starcraft, and Diablo.

CoD is a bad game(one of the worst FPS in the market) though it's sales are the highest thanks to raging fanboys. Considering the hate that the next game(Ghost) is getting I'm not really sure about it's future.

Though one could argue that Vivendi's profit maximization agenda was the reason behind the trash that AB was producing. Hope by going indie they can regain some rep.
