Under a strong govt like Imran khan this project is possible.if completed and connected till Gwadar would be a new game changer in the region

this just wont be for China bt Central asia especially tajikistan

Daily Times - Leading News Resource of Pakistan

could be a new route of central asia to water.since countries like tajikistan has relation with iran very tense

Not under the current security environment. Even the Chinese will not take a chance.

Indeed.but all this current security situation is temporary

Point is if this rail link is made to Tajikistam(except uzbekistam rest of them are nt pro iran hence the whole or atleast 2-3 countries in central asia) and China alone can make gwadar the busiest port of the world.

Again a leader with balls like Imran khan can make it possible

despite pak being 3.5 times smaller than India
seems like the Indian land is dud with neither any strategic importance nor resources

despite being a much bigger economy has no role in world politics as well

The current situation has prevailed for at least the last six years and has only worsened if the state of your economy, fatalities in terrorist acts of violence, the overall situation in Balochistan and the tenuous political landscape in your biggest cities are any indicators.

Not to rain on your parade, but a trans-Pakistan-China railway link on the lines of one like this, that does not make use of existing rail infrastructure, seems implausible in the current, or near future, scenario.

It would also invalidate your legal position over Kashmir: that Kashmir is disputed because it will involve the ultra vires construction of an international linkage between Kashmir and Pakistan and between Kashmir and China, on behalf of the Kashmiris.

From reading on many Pakistani forums all I have to say is credit to you guys, you don't let the [email protected] happening at home affect your dreams- you still dream big! But it is the implementation of these dreams where Pakistan falls woefully short. Not much seems to happen.

This will be as realistic as the map the OP posted, ie, Kashmir being part of Pakistan.

Dude I have been going around on PDF as a false flagger. Just by seeing the quality of posts, one can imagine why Pakiland is slowly
    becoming an absolute shithole.

Everything is possible when you have money.

With such a railway, the people who is living nearby can expect hundredes millions income from the transportation alone every year, not to mention those potential investment coming along.

I don't think people would choose extreme religion when they have an opportunity of better lives.

Huh, being a taller than mountain and deeper than ocean friend, you would know better than
in Pakhana-land, people choose extremism over anything. If they weren't, they won't be involved
    in so many terrorist activities.
