AMETHI: The Prime Minister is playing the drums in Japan, while at home, a power crisis and rising prices are plaguing the nation, said Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. "100 days of this government are over...it has forgotten its promises," said the 44-year-old, alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has reneged its promise to tackle corruption and other issues.

Mr Gandhi's comments were made in his constituency of Amethi, where he had earlier faced a litany of complaints from residents on long power cuts. ('Rahul's Own Party Doesn't Listen to Him, Why Should We?': BJP)

Mr Modi returned yesterday from a five-day trip to Japan where he delivered a series of applauded speeches and photo-ops - on one occasion, he played the drums; on another, he broke the security cordon at the Indian embassy in Tokyo to greet supporters across the street. (From Playing Drums to Meeting Fans, the Modi Touch is Visible)

He has returned with a commitment from Japan to invest nearly 34 billion dollars over the next five years in key infrastructure projects and the cleaning of the river Ganga.

Mr Modi exhibited his much-acclaimed oratory skills throughout the visit. "I am a Gujarati, money is in my blood, I understand business," he told a group of Japanese businessmen. "Red carpet, not red tape, awaits you in India" he promised another.

Mr Modi's government completed 100 days in office this week. In May, his party, the BJP won a stunning victory in the national elections, accruing the strongest mandate for a political party in 30 years. Mr Gandhi led the campaign for the Congress which locked down its worst ever performance.

But for his party, centred on the dynastic rule of the Gandhis (Rahul's mother Sonia is President), criticizing the First Family is a firm no-go zone. A report dissecting the party's failure in the election said Mr Gandhi could not be held responsible for the debacle.

In the face of criticism from his party's old guard, who have publicly questioned his leadership, Mr Gandhi said, "These types of tensions have always been there. We will deal with that."

Stop Drumming in Japan, Focus on Home Affairs, says Rahul Gandhi to PM Narendra Modi

Modi should take cue from shazada. He goes abroad veryyy very frequently, but no drums. In fact his trips are quite hush hush.

Rahul Gandhi (aka Raul Vincci) is a person with very low intellect (intellect if any), on top of it - his script writers and advisers are no way intelligent. They are claiming that Indians are suffering (in Amethi) while Modi is drumming!!!!!!!

They have this pseudo-intellectual outlook where they are comparing Modi with Nero (Ironically, Nero was Italian just like Raul Vincci, subliminal message very pseudo-intellectual, Rahul may not even know who Nero is, I'm surprised he knows what a Drum is!)! However, these elite-idiots from Lutyens forgot that India has been ruined by Con-gress rule for past 60 yrs! It is the con-grees which is responsible for our country's bad situation not 100 day old Modi Sarkar! Above all, this brain-dead Gandhi scion forgot he is talking BS from Amethi which is his ancestral cesspool, if Amethi is in a bad state it is all because of Gandhi-Nehrus who have looted the country inside out!

Seriously Dumb people all legacy of 'the' Chacha!

At least he acknowledges the he is (PM Modi) beating the drums of success. In the next election he will beat the drums of complete wipe out of Congress and their coalition party's from center for the next 60 years.

Rahul Gandhi is India's pride in idiocy.

Someone requires to drum some sense and intelligence in his head.

He and his Mummy dear are so afraid of the 'upheaval' and discontent that has hit the sinking ship called the Congress, that they have got cold feet and have decided not to canvas for the UP by polls.

Rahul Gnadhi requires to be drummed out of teh Congress Party if it is to survive.

'Drum out' means to expel or send someone away from something, especially in a formal or public fashion.

Who is going to take the initiative? One way to do is for the central Government of today to initiate development in their constituency and send the message to voters do the right thing. I see the next election will be the last one for both of them because of PM Modi's vision for Bharatvarsh.

Well Irani lost by narrow margin of 1.07 Lakh. Last time RaGa had 3 Lakh Margin and ofcourse she is trying to make Amethi her bastion. Once he loses the election, its game over for him. And I doubt he will be brazenly able to manipulate the Election Commission like he did this time when he went inside during polling as Modi would have dismantled his sycophants by then.

Shazia Ilmi called Raul Khan Vinci as a "Juvenile" in Arnoob's show.

This "Young Man" hasn't answered why did he sleep in Parliament.

Where was this "Young Man" when the YOUTH of India was facing lathicharg? Also where was Antonia?

But he has so much stupidity to question MODI who bagged a $ 35 Billion Business deal and now a Nuclear Deal with Australia.

It's better to be silent and taken as a foolish but speaking proves it.... whenever this largest ababy of the world open his mouth he makes fun of Congress.BJP would love this baby to be representing ComCon.
