Few things in life are sexier than hundreds of Katyushas firing simultaneously.

Back in the day when I was a Cold Warrior - and I still have my Cold warrior certificate, by the way :) - we understood that the Warsaw Pact threat in Europe depended very much on the Red Army's abilities in river crossings. Maybe there are some YouTube videos on that subject.

Holy shit! I'm glad we didn't go to war. The chorus was intimidating by itself. The PT-76 looks like a good swimmer, and the pontoon bridges got thrown up in a hurry.

Someday, some military genius on one side or the other will say, "Well, tactical nukes aren't really that big", and away we'll go. The world is losing the non-proliferation thing.:-(
