Though unlike Military where you have fixed requirements, Civil sector does not have such restrictions ..

IMHO, Foreign players can play in India within the rules applied by Government ..

@hitesh, I think Sayareakd Sir was referring to metallurgy rather cost ..
Rather than going for titanium allow first OFB should try with plastic to replace INSAS metal parts like other modern weapons of today like Tavore

OFB ( INSAS ) cannot so does IMI ( Galil ) or SIG ..

These Rifles are inspired from AK, If one go for plastic parts they will lost their quality of an AK, Like AK these rifles have stamped Steel receiver, Only metal can replace metal ..

That is why Sayareakd Sir, Mention use of lighter metal alloy, Improved INSAS 1B1 use this quality but again there is always scope for refinement ..

Rather than going for titanium allow first OFB should try with plastic to replace INSAS metal parts like other modern weapons of today like Tavore

It cost more than 1 lakh INR ,really a safety solutions for rich ,poor don't have right to protect them self
To protect yourself we don't need a gun. We need an attitude that I am not a mere doll, I can fight the hell out. I myself have gifted my girlfriend a folded knife. told her dear when you are attacked by one you must kill her. You have the right to save yourself and your belongings according to Indian Law, and if you are attacked by more than one you must make sure you kill the first one who attacks you. Rest is in the hand of God. If you die you will atleast have a death of valor that you have fought to your optimum perfection. In India most of the rapists are unarmed or armed eith sharp weapons. using a sharp weapon and bit of courage can make the difference.

Force One of Maharastra Police:

NSG:

The SPG may or may not still use it as they've now got the P-90 and FN-2000.

There's bound to be an untold number of Special state/local/central police units around India using it.

Over a thousand of them were bought for CAPFs in 2011/12 alone:
