Not only this but ancestors had given ideology of realization of God, from Lord Shiva & Shakti Devi to the mystic and metaphysical existence of the Lord, and it developed great civilizations and given birth to various cultures and traditions. All the religions of world owe the ancient Sindh's Dravidian features of existentialism and idealism. From Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism to the teachings of Guru Naanak (Sikhism), all the religions are mere fractions of old teachings of Dravidian philosophy."

There is a tendency in Pakistan's Punjab to ban all non-Islamic celebrations in the guise of some excuse or the other. Fortunately Sindh has been different. Basant is still a major point of contention in Paksitan.

Celebrating anything related to Dharmic literature e.g death of holika in her attempt to kill prahladh maharaja, should be haraam in Pakistan. Holi(basant) is a folk practice but it has its roots in puranic stories.

Buddhism did not fall from sky..Buddha himself was Hindu before becoming buddha( Vedic to be precise)
Entire population of your so called ancient pakistan was Hindu before it was Buddhist...even if it was buddhist it is still a dharmic religion similar to hindusim...

Dude why all this lies, propaganda & unnecessary bashing ? pakistan was part of Akanda Bharath before its independence from India & its indigenous people were Hindu. Accept the fact that you all your ancestors were once were Hindus & were forced to convert.

yes certain tribes of pakistan had buddhist ancesters but we are proud of them.

Small minorities of pakistan had hindu incesters(0.25%-0.35%) the reason they are termed as mahajars and are not respected in india because of there true origin

as per my suggestion buddhism is to be declared the 2nd official religion of pakistan considering that it belong to the ancient pakistan and having rich history with ancient Pakistan

as someone said it is also a dharmic religion..so what?
it doesnt matter.matter what is siddhart buddha left hinduism and followed the path of buddhism in the present day Pakistan
