What is amusing is that even Pakis aren't allowed in areas occupied by the 11,000 Chinese PLA as well as the Chinese civilian work force who have built permanent settlements in Gilgit / Baltistan for the ostensible reason of developing the CPEC! The Pakis need special permits from the Chinese!!

In other words, GB is soon turning into another autonomous region of China just like TAR (Tibetan Autonomous Region). And Gwadar Port has already been handed over to the Chinese on an extendible 40 year lease!! Pakis need permits from the Chinese here too!

Jeeez! Pakistan is slowly but surely being absorbed and assimilated into China. Everything is now Chinese out there. What a shame! Here's a country which has never attempted to stand on its own feet. First they milked the US since the 50s and now have sold their soul to China!

pakistan has always been a 'sell-out' oligarchy. as per Tarek Fatah himself, the foundation-stone of being a sell-out was laid that day itself when jinna jumped at the prospect of earning hefty moolah for creation of a separate country to preserve western interests in the region.

Its because that land is leased to China. Lease is like giving China ownership of the land for that period of time. I will be surprised if after 30/50 years (whenever the lease ends), China will give the land back to porkis.

I don't think the Porkis will ever get Gwadar back for the simple reason that China is funding the entire $46 billion CPEC (except $11 billion which has been handed out to Pakistan as a loan for construction of motorways) with the ultimate aim of establishing a naval base there to control the Strait of Hormuz and dominate the Arabian Sea/Indian Ocean.The CPEC is going to be their logistics artery for their naval base at Gwadar

So they ain't gonna leave in a hurry. Gwadar is now China's and will remain so till the end of days!

How did the brainless Porkis ever think that China is constructing CPEC for Pakistan's benefit? Oh wait, did I say 'brainless'? That's why!

They are just a bit player in this project.
