He is being well groomed by New Delhi. I am sure there were feelers sent out to have him as the CM and Farooq as some central minister so that he gets the feel of the state politics.

I second that. He is becoming outspoken and I believe he is being advised by a good number of people, two of them being Farooq himself and the other is probably Ali Mohammad Sagar.
