Serbia keen to adopt Vibrant Gujarat model

AHMEDABAD: Impressed by the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, East European country Serbia has approached Ahmedabad-based international trade consulting firm Global Network to help organise a 'Vibrant Serbia' event on the lines as Vibrant Gujarat. "Serbian government wants to organize a three day summit and exhibition, which will be addressed by their top leaders. Like Vibrant Gujarat, country partners will be invited, sectoral seminars and country seminars will be held along with national and international exhibitions, business to business (B2B) meetings and video conferences with cultural programmes on each day," claimed Jagat Shah, chief executive officer of Global Network. He further said that with other countries, including India as country partners, it will become international as well as regional event for the Balkan. "Countries including Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey,Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Macedonia. Albania are likely to join.Apart from these, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Israel,Russia European Union , USA, China, among others are also likely to send delegations," Shah said. Gujarat has been hosting the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, a brain- child of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, since 2003.
