Saina Nehwal reaches French Open Super Series Final

Saina Nehwal reaches the final of French Open Super Series by defeating 4th Seed and world number 6th ranking German player Julianne Schenk. Incidentally, Saina won in recently concluded Denmark Super Series by defeating Schenk in the final.

Saina will now face in the final, the winner of all Japanese semi-final match between Minatsu Mitani and Eriko Hirose. The final is scheduled tomorrow on Sunday 28th at 1:00PM CET.

Saina lost the French Open final to unseeded Japanese player Mianstsu Mitani in two straight sets 21-19 and 21-11. Its for the first time in women's singles that an unseeded player won a Super Series. The japanese player simply outwitted Saina both physically and mentally.
