What's with Russia being the new buzzword in Europen media?

My take: there is no threat from Russia to Europe. All this natak is to justify the planned future increase In defence spending by European nations.

That is also what I thought til very recently. Now I don't know any more. Wild things can happen when an American President openly calls for dismantling European Union. And maybe Nato. Who would stop Russia then to claim its historical rights on the Baltic rivers ? Napoleon ? Prussia ? The Royal Navy ? All gone with the wind !
