Looks much different from CT operations by Indian forces. More like counter-insurgency.

The PLA has never defined low-intensity CT as one of its missions - that responsibility falls to the People's Armed Police, China's equivalent of the National Guard. Nearly all PLA formations and logistics are tailored toward high-intensity, heavy operations with substantial (some would say excessive) amounts of air and artillery support, regardless of whether the opponent is a conventional army or insurgents hiding in villages.
