    Lenin made a good move by making peace with the Germans . He realised that the war was extremely unpopular and that people just wanted peace.

    Kerensky made a critical error by continuing the war and even escalating it (which substantially eroded support for the Provisional Government), and the Bolsheviks pounced on their mistake.

    The Germans must thought they were making a good move by getting Lenin back to Russia. I wonder if in the end it made any difference for them.

    there was also wide spread anger among russians that under the Tsars they lost against japan...guess eveytime russians have lost the country has changed its rulers...eg. after Afghanistan
