New Delhi: Almost a year ago India came very close to eliminating Dawood Ibrahim, the country's most wanted terrorist and accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, who is being shielded by Pakistan. A team of Indian commandos had infiltrated into Pakistan to hunt Dawood and were all set to execute the highly secret operation before they were asked to not carry out the strike.

Indian intelligence agencies have been trying to trace and nab Dawood ever since he fled to Pakistan more than two decades ago after masterminding the biggest terror strike in the country.

But several attempts at extraditing him have failed over the years. Now explosive details accessed by IBN7 suggests India attempted a daring covert operation to eliminate Dawood on Pakistan's territory.

"An operation was planned in 2013 to eliminate Dawood. Nine agents were selected by RAW for the operations. The operatives were given passports of Sudan, Bangladesh and Nepal. The team was called Super Boys," claimed a source.

For the operation, RAW had sought active support from Israel's Mossad and September 13 was chosen as the date of execution, the source said.

According to the source, "Dawood has been living in Karachi for years and every day he travels from his Clipton Road home to the Defence Housing Society. This was the opportunity the 'Super Boys' chose to utilise. A dargah on the way was chosen as the spot for execution. On September 13, 2013, the nine commandos took positions across the road. The commandos not only knew details of Dawood's car but also had a latest video which exposed his present appearance."

But minutes before the execution, the plan was aborted after a mysterious phone call.

The source, however, did not divulge details about the call, who made it and why the plan was aborted."

This could be disinformation so that Pakistan gets peeved and warned that India could lay their attention elsewhere too on those who are roaming free with their anti Indian activities.

It could not be gossip alone.

A mysterious phone call to Amritsar Airport security officials to release the hijacked Indian Airlines flight and let it go resulted in the worst hIjack drama in South Asia. The plane was taken to lawless Kandhar and resulted in release of two dreaded terrorists from Kashmir jail and death of an Indian passenger.

These things only indicate that taking down Dawood Ibrahim and his henchmen has always on Indian radar. Now there is new Sherrif in town, if UPA government failed then it is quite possible NDA may succeed.

It is a true incident, RAW has accepted the truth partially after this news broke out in publicly, but the question is who was that high-profile person called that night to stop the operation, it might become a 'Game Changer' for Indian Security and might have shattered Pakistanis & Terrorist's false believe that India can not launch an operation like Abottabad......!!!!!

How ridiculous & shameful our UPA Govt & its leaders were, Only for Congress we have lost a part of Kashmir, only for them we have lost Aksai Chin to China, for them we have lost a big trump card of Tibet by accepting tihis as a territory of China, for them we have lost the chance of bargaining with Pakistan for Jammu & Kashmir when our Army have captured major part of Pakistan's Punjab & Rawalpindi and came closer to capture Islamabad........we have lost our prestige under Congress regime, we need throw this party out of our country, now all eyes are on NaMo's NDA Govt, we expect they will do the justice.....!!!!

forget dawood, he is a sick pig on his last legs. i'd rather see him die of syphillis or of the flesh eating bacteria..... the enemies I am more worried about are the sick khangressis, the mulayams, the asaduddins and the sharad pawars... these swines should either be air dropped over isis territory or eliminated. you stop these internal enemies and dawood is only as good as an erectile dysfunction..
