Isn't that true though? They left because they got wasted by Hitler. They didn't have any troops to help keep the peace in India and India had a large number of battle hardened armed soldiers returning from WW2. The violence would have started if they hadn't left. So they got the hell out of dodge while they could with their dignity intact.
Yes, that's true but that's not how the 'global narrative' tells it. Our history has inherited this global narrative to appease the colonial masters and buried the larger narrative. This is also the reason why Netaji files haven't been released because it 'may spoil relations with a foreign power'.

Britain was weakened not just in Europe but even within India, the Soviet Socialists had reached out to revolutionaries and provided moral and material support to Hindustan Socialist Republic association (Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev), at the same time RSS had made a pact with Bose, who in turn had a pact with Hitler for us to send our boys to the British army and once in the battlefield, they would surrender en masse to Hitler and get training to fight against the British.

THIS is why the British had Bose declared as a WW2 war criminal despite him not having participated in any European theater of war. He only participated in the Indian theater for the liberation of India.

The Nazis had actually setup special cells for training Indian 'deserters' from the British army. By now it was clear from the unusually high number of desertions that desertion was merely a means of free travel for our lads to travel from India to Germany on British dime, only to get training and infiltrate back into India and pop a cap in British ass.

Look at our lads in Nazi uniforms.

This one is Wafen SS :

During the Asian version of Nuremberg trials (known as Toyko Trials), there was an Indian judge who finally said what no one had the courage to say that the trials does not conform to the highest standards of judicial probity, because the Allies have not been held accountable for the warcrimes they committed. This is merely a witch hunt by a victorious power"

The judge's name was Radhagobind Pal. Japan still has a memorial in his honor at the Yasukuni Shrine.

Decades After War Trials, Japan Still Honors a Dissenting Judge

That's Hideki Tojo with justice Pal at the extreme left.

There's even a Netflix series about it, with Irffan Khan in it, named 'Tokyo Trials'.

I know you said yesterday that you didn't want to talk about Azad Hind Fauz and their alliance with the Axis, but this intellectual banter between us just keeps getting interesting every time it comes up..

There's even a movie about it, which released just this week. Here's a teaser :

If Indians who fought for the independence of India in the AHF could be labelled as war criminals then the French Resistance fits the bill too.

I didn't say don't want to talk about Azad Hind Fauj. On the contrary, I enjoy reading your perspective. It is obvious you know a lot about history.

Geeko sir,Pardon me but Were the Nazis trustworthy enough for this grand operation of liberating India from those british occupiers ? I mean they were Abrahamics as well. What if they would've become next occupiers of our motherland after her liberation ? What do you think of Nazi psyche ?

The Axis and Allied forces were both equally evil.

Our task was not to go all out in making friends with them, but to do just enough to shake the British empire. Even the Nazis were thinking on the same lines. They weren't thinking of the independence of Indian people. The situation back then was exactly like it is now in many theaters.

Think about it this way, we want to give weapons to Vietnam to harass China. Vietnam is a communist nation but we don't particularly care about it. Nor do they care about Hinduism. They need the weapons to pursue their own goals, and we will probably give it to them for our own reasons.

Bose didn't care about Nazism and Nazis didn't care about our freedom struggle. They wanted to harass Britain by inciting rebellion in its colonies and making it costly for them to sustain the empire. This would force Britain to either remove troops from Europe and send them to India to contain the rebellion, or to give up India, which is what happened.

The Nazis had also setup separate camps for Arab and Turk Muslims within Germany. So this doctrine of using jihadi terrorism as an instrument of state policy was pioneered by them. They didn't care about Islam either. All geopolitics.

Churchill was a rabid racist. His attitude towards Indians wasn't much different from Hitlers attitude towards Jews. He was in favour of gassing people too...

True that.

He also artificially orchestrated the Bengal famine which led to the death of 6 million Bengalis. So he did indeed exterminate as many Indians as Hitler did Jews.

From wikipedia, might be of interest.

In speeches, Hitler made apparently warm references towards Muslim culture such as: "The peoples of Islam will always be closer to us than, for example, France".[1]

A famous anecdote about Adolf Hitler's perspectives towards Islam and the Arabs is recounted by Albert Speer in his best-selling memoir, Inside the Third Reich. Speer reports that "Hitler had been much impressed by a scrap of history he had learned from a delegation of distinguished Arabs."[2] The delegation had speculated that the world would have become "Mohammedan" if the Berbers and Arabs had won the Battle of Tours in the 8th Century AD, and that the Germans would have become heirs to "a religion that believed in spreading the faith by the sword and in subjugating all nations to that faith. Such a creed was perfectly suited to the German temperament."[3] Speer then presents Hitler's claims on this subject:

Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire.[4]

Similarly, Hitler was transcribed as saying: "Had Charles Martel not been victorious at Poitiers [...] then we should in all probability have been converted to Mohammedanism, that cult which glorifies the heroism and which opens up the seventh Heaven to the bold warrior alone. Then the Germanic races would have conquered the world."[5]

According to Speer, Hitler stated in private, "The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"[6]

All good posters please comment on this tweet by this loud mouth. I wanted to answer him but I am too bitter that won't be able to use parliamentary language.

Thanks

that Guha chap was flying a bit too high today
so I just gave him some class
These Congress-I dallals are coming out in open showing their real character. They can do anything to serve the dynasty.

This Hartosh Singh Bal is a congress-I apologist who hides his servitude to them with shopistry. He got perplexed when Swapan Das Gupta got invited for one of this book reading. This loud mouth abuse people on twitter and cry crocodile tears on intolerance.

They are abusing Rani Madmavati as we speak, now Rajputs and Hindus for all their struggle that lead to protecting these holy lands.

Post independence the blunder we did in the hands of that Torjan House Bhen choD Nehru that we lost the direction to a wilderness that we are now again seeing the face of division, distortion and humiliation even after getting our nation divided on the lines of religion.

Rajputs were brave warriors, but Mughals had better technology (cannons), strategy (horse archers) and tactics (Tughlaqnama). Babur learned these the hard way through experience.
Rajputs relied too much on cavalry - but did not have horse archers. Central Asian composite recurve bows did not fare well in Indian environment.
Rana Pratap understood the importance of archers and incorporated Bhil archers in his army.

When was Rajputs rulings paki land, the last hindu ruling dynasties were Brahmans,Kabul shahi and Dahir were Brahmans, his capital was Brahmanabad.

And our kins are Dogras not sindhi trader Bhuttos or any mallecha who claimed rajput status upon conversion.

BTW it was Rajputs whose women never hesitated to jump into funereal pyre, such a bravery only showed by these women, there is no equal in the world.

And show some respect to the likes of Prithviraj who took Ghari on his own and ultimatly died with honor that too without the help of any half naked dravid ruler from south.
Rajputs make up a quarter of the population of both Sindh and Punjab.

They had various ruling Muslim dynasties based off of Sindh. The most famous of these were the Samma Dynasty; probably the "greatest" of the Rajput dynasties, they ruled over 200,000 sq mi of territory stretching all the way from Afghanistan into Balochistan, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

They were responsible for fighting various foreign invasions and had defeated Firuz Shah Tughluq and possibly even his famed father, Muhammad bin Tughluq who died during the expedition. Mughal Armies were also crushed by the famous Jam Nizamuddin II whom they feared.

Eventually, Sindh was weakened by succession wars and fell into eventual civil war in which the Sammas were defeated by the Arghuns, a Turkic people who had settled in Sindh.

Pak Rajputs is an oxymoron. It's only during British period that these Pakis started claiming Rajput ancestry otherwise the land now known as Pak was never ruled by native Rajput dynasties.

This samma dynasty you mentioned is itself very dubious with no clear family tree and Rajput ancestors. They ain't even Qaimkhanis

Casteism in Islam

____________________________________
Yes, you're right. We don't believe in Casteism. Punjab and Sindh has a baradari system based off of various tribes that have distinct cultures, history, origins and some even have different languages - however there is no hierarchical system or tribal tension/conflict. You're equal regardless of your tribe.

There does exist some neo-discrimination in backward and uneducated areas against tribes of South Indian descent such as the Churas.
