What Gandhi scion's Kedarnath trip tells us: Rahul is the new Hindu poster boy - Firstpost
Rahul Gandhi is a Roman Catholic, like his mother.
He cannot be a Hindu poster boy.
To be one, he has to dump his Catholic heritage and accept Hinduism. Then he has to dump his mother and her religion. Embrassing Hinduism is not "Aaya Ram and Gaya Ram". Whatever he chooses, is final.
Until then stop pretending as a Hindu.
Yes Rahul Gandhi Inspired me to go to temple everyday.
Him being a poster boy is a disgrace to the poster let alone the cause he is subscribing to.. Let him first openy tell which country he went to party when paliment was in session then talk about a PM who is representing India in the international world
He's a poster boy alright. A poster of Rahul Gandhi makes a nice juicy target to for the monkeys in the primatology centres to aim to fling their faeces at!!
Getting desperate now are we? Was the article penned down by Sanjay Jha?
No matter what he or his party does it is not going to make any difference. A political leader should be able to read the trend on the minds of voters and the fact is they paid lip service to image of Bharatvarsh in foreign countries. They did not retaliate with enough force against border shelling. We will see where he and his Chamchas stand in next four years. May be it is time for him to take pilgrimage around the world.
Within few hours of Modi victory on this very forum I said that Congress-I will change its tactics and will try to lure Hindus. If Hindus have any conscience left they should never follow this party, actually any party blindly for that matter. Hindus were the biggest losers when the followed this party and committed heinous crime of history of Modern India in 1984. The Congress-I came out strongest as a political party, and Hindus became weakest since then.
He is following in his father's footsteps. One has to remember that it was under Mr.Rajiv Gandhi's term that the locks of the temple at Ayodhya were opened and Shila Nyas was allowed to appease the majority community. This was followed by the infamous Shah Bano case where the law was overturned to please the hardliners in the minority community.
There will be more drama from the Boy Wonder before he disappears again.
I believe it was the other way round. First Rajiv passed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act, 1986 in the parliament, thereby diluting the provisions of the SC judgement on the Shah Bano case.
In November, 1989, he launched his election campaign by performing a Shilanyas, open the doors of the Ram temple and pledged Ram Rajya.
It's an old Congress strategy- it was termed "soft Hindutva" in Gujarat, Sonia Gandhi taking a dip in Sangam on the occasion of Maha Kumbh etc.
Would this also get termed as ghar wapasi?
RSS is to blame for this.
@mayfair, thanks for pointing out the flaw in the timeline.
