    7) What is the Monostatic RCS , Bistatic RCS and Gross RCS measurement data for JF-17

    8) Does pakistan have a CATR and other such test facilities for jf-17 ?

    In India we have
RCS measurement capability in an anechoic
chamber/ compact antenna test range with the following
    specifications
    • Frequency range: 4.0 GHz to 110.0 GHz
    • Quite zone size: 1.2 m dia ´ 1.2 m long cylinder

Pakistan's should own up they didn't give any technical test results nor provided any proof nor they have facilities every thing was created by the Chinese they just import the KDKs ( knocked down kits ) and do screwdriver giri and claim they developed it .
This thread is not to taunt pakistan but to tell the reality how tough it was to create a 4th generation fighter all their mockings about Tejas well it is time they answer some hard questions .

Quite an unique JV in which a Country with established aerospace capabilities collaborated with a country virtually no aerospace industry.

Why does it hurt you so much, we own 52℅ of the project and have the clause to increase our ownership if we want to. Why are happy with it, be happy in our happiness :p

first pakis begs for money to usa, saudis and china and then claims to own the projects.

but you claiming lca to be more foreign made jet than paki made jf,

what is paki share of jf components,

and which jf components are pakis innovated,

and how many of those pakis made jf components are licence production.

india got total ownership of the lca project,

    be happy with it.

    no rush,

    take time,

but answer before another 7 decades of paki country existence,

or you and your pack of pakis gonna keep running away from this thread like jf ran away from lca.

Here is a comparative study of Tejas & JF-17 by an authoritative Chinese Source. The Write-up clearly says although Pakistan owns 52% share in the jf-17 joint venture, its contribution is not known. Further it says JF-17 offers nothing new and is hammered out of Engine, avionics & other components available off-the-shelf in the international market. In the conclusive para it says Tejas is a futuristic aircraft having the potential to develop further while JF-17 is a 3rd generation machine having many similarities to the obsolete Mig-21. Although China is the principal partner in the jf-17 JV, it has no plan to induct this aircraft into its force. Tells volumes about the efficacy of this plane.

The JF-17 is as "join venture" as Su-30MKI's, maybe even less. That is to say it's basically a Chinese product constructed in Pakistan with some Pakistani specifications and changes in electronics.

That being said, I'm not sure why people get angry at Pakistan for this claim. To be honest Pakistan makes a never ending series of ridiculous claims and this isn't really one of the major ones. It's not even worth debating because the answer is so clear cut and obvious. Pakistan lacks the infrastructure to design an aircraft, look how hard it was for India and it has much more of everything.

Once you get past the fact that it like most/virtually all? Pakistani military hardware is Chinese products assembled in Pakistan and repainted, the JF-17 and other join ventures are the best possible deal for Pakistan.

The products come at great prices, the RD is already done, they are fairly reliable and tested, Pakistan will have a guaranteed supply of spare parts, the prices are amazing etc...

If if the jet is 1% designed in Pakistan, it is still a starting point that the Pakistani's can work on to customize over time. Maybe 5% next year and 40% in 10 more. Who knows. But it is a smart deal and probably exactly what any other nation, including India would do in their situation and with their limited resources.

No, that is not an authoritative Chinese Paper. It is a simply copy-paste from "Want China Times", a Taiwanese website which is not specialized on Aviation field.

No, the JF-17 is far more "join venture" than Su-30MKI: this is plane was developed solely on Pakistan demand, Pakistan's expected battle field and Pakistan logistics. In other words, if PLAAF wants it, they need to spend another amount of money to modify it.

So, yes, Pakistan did share certain design work.

Pakistan lacks funds and an industrial eco-system to develop a fighter from scratch. Therefor we have a time tested friend who does have all we need and she's more than willing to function as our workshop, share required expertise and transfer technology.

Pakistan's defence infrastructure lacks transparency for good reasons and only a few privileged ones have full knowledge of the project.

AFAIK PAF's dedicated engineering team has been involved from day one as we wanted to transfer our expertise into the JF-17 and we did a great job working with Chinese engineers who patiently respected our ASR and gave their full cooperation.

It doesn't matter what % is contributed by Pakistan, what matters is that China is transferring full ToT to PAC Kamra. The JF-17 will gradually be locally produced and overhauled and it is not vulnerable to embargoes.

Many fanboys from both sides love to bash eachothers weakpoints hence we see a zillion threads in several fora and social media. Imho instead of throwing mud at eachother we both should be proud to have a national fighter program. How many developed nations can say that? Lca and Jft are both 4th gen platforms developed to replace a large number of ageing and obsolete fighters. JFT or LCA will never be a front line fighter but a force multiplier and a point defencer and we're both putting great efforts to make it what we want it to be.

So be proud at what we both have.
