This shows the extent China will go to, in order to secure its strategic interests. It is a negligible interest right now, but in a few decades, it will start to give fruit to all their labors to secure their interests.
India will have a population greater than China in the next 1.5 decades. We need a lot of coal, and ore and minerals, as well as land to farm, which won't be available in India for the huge population burden we are going to have. India should take a leaf out of China's book, in order to facilitate rapid growth for the rest of the century.
