Another Grandoise scheme from our Hair brained leaders- Photos of Sonia Gnadhi and PM Singh on all National highways at a gap of every 25 KM.

Apprantely NHAI has a prescribed format for it and each poster is expected to cost Rs.4 lacs each roughly. This is from a Govt. in the first 5 years of it's tenure failed miserably to follow up the road building activities started by the previous NDA Govt. even after coming back to pwer and also with a new minister all we hear are big words and nothing happening on the ground.

Needed: Photos of Sonia, PM every 25 km of national highway

Simply outrageous. We need posters for road awareness not to show the faces sonia gandhi and PM MMS. I hope there will be enough pressure on NHAI to withdraw such proposals. We can use that money to lay more roads rather than these stupid posters.

No **** head ,unlike a ruling congress elite would spend a 4+lakh on just a single poster. Considering 1000`s of kilometers NHAI has,it is gonna bankrupt the nation by hosting some ****ly B!tch.Instead that crores should be better spent on the millions living in poverty.

No wonder that GOI is proving again and again its lame-acts.

Should this be under RTI ?
And how much is going as party funds under the name of these banners?

Lol if every gov organisation wants to show off everything it did in such a manner, then India should be standing in line next to pakistan with Sonia and MMS holding the second largest begging bowls.:noo1:

    Emperor,

I am in complete agreement regarding the cost of such stupid exercise. One has to just open the newspaper on Birthdays of our Dear departed leaders and you can see a plethora of ads by different wings of the Govt. One can imagine the cost incurred, must be running into crores of Rs.

BS...That's our tax money paid to govt.
Why should I pay to have someone's posters on the road.
