More Indians sh1tting on rail tracks, more Indians living in extreme poverty, dying of disease & hunger. While those in power (thanks to Indians) are living large, drinking fine wines in crystal glasses!!! Or is GoI actually going to provide a toilet, shelter, jobs, education & food to eat to these people?

Should India have a plan of action to control population growth!

It won't double by 2050,as people in india will see a huge rise in living standards between now and 2050.When people become richer they have fewer kid's,couple this with a better standard of education. The future is india if she is brave enough to take it.

This is the biggest worry, all the money we are getting will mean nothing if we cannot check population. Unfortunately no political party has it on their agenda and reason is simple. Public does not like to know about their responsibilities.

The problem is not actually specifically of population increase. The problem is actually of lack of family planning information and its significance. Family planning is closely related to financial planning. A family needs to plan and make a certain estimate of how many kids they can have so that the children can be given optimal care, attention and growth. So while one family who can afford to care for one child, should have one child, and those who can estimate (and work hard towards that) they can give proper attention and growth to two children, can have two children.

But hoping for 70% Indians, who either illiterate or disinterested or short-sighted or all of these, to follow on the family planning guidelines, is asking too much IMO.

Lol everyone asks why GoI not providing toilets

Little do they know that for the government to provide all the necessary toilets.
Would result in GOI having accomplished the greatest social infrastructure scheme in history , simply because the number of toilets required is so large.

I can guarantee you that half the problems in this countries are due more to pathetic cultural norms rather than the useless GoI.

Money prosperity has made little difference , weather your salary is Rs.1000 or Rs.100000. They will treat the whole country like their personal dustbin.
I can't even stop my own family from trowing stuff out the car windows , what any of us can do about outsiders.

My point being your not going to accomplish anything by telling people what to do, we are not a communist state to force people to do stuff(and neither is our police force capable of carrying out that enforcement). If people had good common sense they will know how many kids to have , where to trow their garbage and where to take their shits.

GoI or any government can only point people in direction and provide incentives so far as life style choices go.
