Congress has made it obvious even to the skeptics, CBI = Congress Bureau of Investigation.

    ===

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided DMK leader MK Stalin's residence here early on Thursday morning.

Reports suggested that CBI has registered a case against Stalin's son for illegally importing a car.

The DMK leader spoke to agencies claiming the raid was a part of 'political vendetta' against the party.

'We don't know why we are being raided,' he added.

The DMK had on Tuesday formally withdrawan support to the Central government.

TR Baalu and four other members of the DMK, which earlier in the day announced that it was pulling out of the Cabinet and the coalition, met President Pranab Mukherjee and handed over the letter withdrawing support to of its 18 MPs to the UPA government.

The DMK had been pressing the UPA government that India should push for amendments to a US-sponsored resolution in UN Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) so that it calls for an independent international probe into "genocide" of Sri Lankan Tamils. The party also wants a resolution by Indian Parliament on the issue.

However, in making the announcement DMK chief M Karunanidhi had left open a window for reconsidering the decision by stating that it was "ready" to reconsider its decision if Parliament adopts a resolution before March 21 taking the party's demands on board. The Geneva-based UNHRC is due to vote a resolution against Sri Lanka on March 21.

Sources said the Government is drafting a resolution to be brought in Parliament in a bid to placate Karunanidhi.

Of the five DMK ministers, M K Alagiri is of Cabinet rank. The DMK has 18 Lok Sabha MPs and six Rajya Sabha MPs. Karunanidhi also ruled out outside support.

With the DMK pullout, the strength of the UPA in the Lok Sabha has been reduced to 224 but it enjoys the support of 281 MPs that include those of outside supporting parties. The Lok Sabha has 539 MPs at present as four seats are vacant. The half-way mark is 270.

Its just an eye wash, so that DMK can gain public sympathy in TN. CBI raid for imported car. They can get away with a fine. If the intent would have been to take revenge, they would have found a much bigger case against DMK.

Once you have a contract with satan you are doomed. If you leave the contract you get into hell. DMK is an example. If you don't leave, you live a hell daily. Mulayam is an example.

    Where is the vendetta?

PS: Just saw. Mulayam has sftened his stand on Beni. Lols. What was the alternative. Raid on DMK people could be followed by another on Mulayam or even his son!!

with that, Sanjay Dutt is also sent to jail......... I think the way this American Spy, Sonia, and her men like Manmohan/Rahul/DIgvijay/Shide etc are involved in cleaning all the patriots of India, that time is not far away when CBI/Supreme Court will become a threat for all those who are patriots, to serve foreign government this way who are willing to destroy this country anyhow :shoot:

Its not a one way game. Parties like DMK,BSP,SP will be looking to pound on congress once they get hold of CBI via supporting BJP.

Two birds in one shot! DMK gets an escape route for continue support from outside.... Karuna can cry hoarse about Cong's vendetta politics and turn one on Amma... and, better still, warning to SP and BSP!!

MK has just made a bad move. There was nothing to gain overall. Just see how Mamta is now trying to get back.

BSP and SP also don't want to think of anything else. I think govt will complete its term by hook or crook.

Well good news for NDA I guess?
If Stalin retains his strength in DMK, they're not coming back to Congress anymore after this jolt.
Even a primary School kid can etll why the CBI raid and why now.
Or may be some secret blackmailing and deals are going on :noidea:
But with the timing of this strike (quite bold) Madam has shown her teeth and it seems that the dirty politics gloves in India are coming off in open light now.

    Regards,
    Virendra
