well, in China, the demand of blue-collar jobs are much more than its supply,so the salary of peasants worker rise rapidly.

Instead, the demand of white-collar jobs are much less than the supply, so the salary of university graduates are even less than that of peasant workers'.

近日在南京安德门民工就业市场调查发现,月薪1500元的文员职位,不乏大学生抢着干;月薪2000元的搬运员,农民工未必愿意干。

According to one survey in Jianyangmen employment market in Nanjing city, peasant workers are not ready to accept a blue-collar job which monthly salary is less than 2000RMB(300USD)/month .

However, university graduates are struggling for one white-collar job which month salary is only 1500RMB(220USD)/month.

This is a rather sad situation considering how much China has invested in educating their young. I still think one of the principal problems leading to this issue is the obsessive governmental intrusion in all the economic sectors. Perhaps it would be better to reduce restrictions in the areas that promote innovation and small business development.
