My friend Kestrel is Amphibious APC, while this one that they have developed is an MPV, just 8x8. It is comparable to our Mahindra 6x6 MPV, OFB 4x4 MPV and TATA 4x4 MPV,

They need to borrow everything from design to technology to spares it's only fair they borrow name from outside also .

Anyway we don't want substandard crap to be named after Indian icons. It suits them to have Arab names . Maybe it can carry some goats.

It is yet to be unveiled and will be put up for export as well as induction; so we'll have to wait a week till we get more information.

It's a private Pakistani company; BLITZKRIEG DEFENCE SOLUTIONS; it drew tens of millions in investments. Foreign companies also helped in the project. If this does become a success; it'll mean huge for the company. Pakistan has been looking for an indigenous replacement of the Toyota Utility Trucks we use. The Humak Industrial Estate is one of the most advanced in Pakistan.

A private Pakistani company Blitzkrieg Defense, have developed the new HAMZA 8×8 multi-role combat vehicle and plans to publicly unveil at 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS).

The HAMZA is a multi-purpose 8×8 armoured vehicle in the category of MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected). HAMZA can be used as a platoon strength troop carrier, 14 dismounts and a commander and driver and can also be configured as a command and control platform, forward observation vehicle or in a convoy support role.

The vehicle features a V-shaped wall monocoque armored hull design and offers advanced protection features and superior off-road mobility and can operate in urban, mountainous and difficult rural terrains.

The vehicle has a wheelbase 8×8 and a maximum operating weight of 15 tonnes. The vehicle is protected to Level 4 STANAG 4569 and can be fitted with additional ceramic and composite add-on armor plates.

still no specification , a lot of pics but no technical details about its gun or engine or anything at all ,
or no official info about how many of these ordered for local or export ,
no mention of when did this program started and suddenly u got armored vehicle manufacturing ,
most probably its assembly and paint job by pakis industries .
