This is what I was saying a couple of days ago about Socialist, political correct Rudd being out of step with the other half of Australia. Note the Rudd's half are largely the power base of the Australian Labor Party in power, ie The lower social economic set.

Perhaps the greatest conspiratorial act of national lunacy is to deny India our trade in Uranium based on India's not having signed the non-proliferation treaty - a document which has never been honored by any of the participants. The main power-brokers of the UN Security Council have for half a century maintained their hegemony through the establishment of an International 'political correctness' while they all cynically traded in almost all the word's weaponry including nuclear and missile technology. Against such odds and with great constraint and discipline India stands tall and responsible. We Australians must recognize that it is against both 'common sense - and indeed our national interest' to deny them this trade. I find the continuing stand of the Rudd government illogical and highly questionable towards a country which should be one of our closest Allies.
