In democracy there is little scope for a government to lie because the next government will potentially reveal the truth. I trust our Army's statement. If the IA spokesperson says that Strategic Strike happened, then it did happen.

This will act as a major morale booster for our men in uniform and for the general public alike.

Yes. When time is an issue. You don't want to be in enemy territory for too long. Travelling on foot takes time.
