He is a fighter pilot of 1965 war M.M.Alam . It's claimed by pakis that he shoot down 5 IAF jet in a minute which is world record bla bla bla ...which turn out to be a fake claim as the time of his claim , possible location of that dog-fight and debris count never match , it's also checked by US airforce and they too failed to conclude anything .

Alam and his wingman, Flt.Off. Akhtar, took off shortly after the first Indian attack against Sargodha on the morning of the 7 September 1965, and shortly after the clash between the Mystére flown by Sqn.Ldr. Devayya and two Starfighters, in which both the Indian, and one of the Pakistani fighers were shot down.

This is already a first discrepancy in Pakistani claims, as Fricker (and the "whole World", if you wish) said that Sqn.Ldr. Devayya was the first victim of Sqn.Ldr. M.M. Alam.

Regarding Alam's claims:
1.) He first claimed to have intercepted a formation of six Hunters and fired one Sidewinder against one of them. The missile hit the ground, and then, in Alam's own words: "The next thing I remember was that I was overshooting one of the Hunters and when I looked behind, the cockpit canopy was missing and there was no pilot in the aircraft. He had obviously pulled up and ejected and then I saw him coming down by parachute." Very nice, but this all happened at some 500 knots and flight level of some 45feets/15 meters: would be interessting to learn how Alam managed to see so many details under such circumstances?

Almost needles to say: Alam's victim, Sqn.Ldr. Onkar Nath Kacker, CO 27 Sqn IAF, flew back for over 150 kilometers as his engine stopped due to a booster pump failure. It is possible that his Hunter was damaged by the proxy-fusing Sidewinder, but Kacker certainly didn't ejected close to Sargodha and was not killed. So, Alam's claim is wrong: he couldn't see a Hunter with empty cockpit.

2.) Immediately afterwards, Alam lost the sight of these six Hunters, but he had plenty of fuel and started a pursuit. After some 60 miles, coming over the Chenab River, Akhtar called out five Hunters in - Alam's words: "...absolutely immaculate battle formation..." He turned behind Hunters and now comes the best part of the story:

"We were all turning very tightly - in excess of 5G or just about on the limits of the Sabre's very accurate A-4 radar ranging gunsight...And I think before we had completed more than about 270 degrees of the turn, at around 12 degrees per second, all four Hunters had been shot down. In each case, I got the pipper of my sight around the canopy of the Hunter for virtually a full deflection shot..."

Well, Alam explained later about him developing a technique of firing very short bursts, and that he flew Hunters previously himself (in England). However, the fact is, that Pakistanis later found only two supposed victims of Alam.

And not only this, then now it will get really bad for the PAF's credibility. Initially, the PAF had released the names of the five pilots shot down by Sqn. Ldr. M.M. Alam; as Sqn.Ldr. O.N. Kacker, Sqn.Ldr. A.B. Devayya, Sqn.Ldr. S.B. Bhagwat, Flt.Lt. U.B. Guha and Flg.Off. J.S. Brar. Some later Pak sources claim Flt.Lt. T.K. Chaudary as one of Alam's victims, but I don't know where did they got that name from. By the way, Chaudary/Chaudry is a very usual name in India and in Pakistan.

Furthermore, none of Indian records (not claims) show that these names do coincide with their organisation of the attack against Sargodha. Namely: all these pilots DIDN'T flew aircraft which were part of only ONE or TWO attacks against Sargodha, flown early in the morning and intercepted by Alam, but SIX! And not only this: all these six Indian attacks against Sargodha happened between 06:00 in the morning and 15:00 in the afternoon! So, Alam could hit four Hunters in less than one minute, but those that fell to the ground did so in more than nine hours! And that is - sorry SOC - impossible.

For example: Devayya was from Strike No.1 (undertaken early in the morning), Kacker from 3rd Indian strike and Guha from 6th Indian strike (undertaken in the afternoon). Furthermore, these names do not correspond with the names from the 4th Indian strike, for which the PAF states that Alam shot down the four Hunters! The result: Alam most probably only got two Indian Hunters during the whole day: Fg. Off. Brar and Sqn. Ldr. Bhagwat. Both were killed as their planes crashed. The rest came away, that of Sqn.Ldr. O.N. Kacker crashed due to technical problems and all of the other of Alam's "victims" are still very much alive today.

Well, if someone asks me, both sides have many materials from that war, especially gun-kills of every single kill. If there are so many kills scored by Sqn.Ldr. Alam, and other Pakistani pilots, then the PAF should publish them, but it didn't. OK, gun-camera pics show some things, but certainly not all, like date, place etc. So, if so many Hunters crashed inside of Pakistan after they were shot down by Alam, then Pakistanis must be in possession of their wreckage. And that is not the case, because otherwisen 06:00 and 15:00h in the Sargodha area as victims of Sqn.Ldr. Alam, which supposedly shot them all down in less than half-an-hour.

As one can see, Indians have delivered their proofs, and showed that this small amount of Pakistani evidence for "four Hunters in less than one minute" shot down by Sqn.Ldr. M.M. Alam is worth nothing. I do not understand what should be wrong with all of that, or why not to belive it? After all, everybody in the West use to belive the side which is able to deliver more and better proofs for its case.

Lastly, Air Commodor S.Sajjad Haider of the Pakistani Air Force said, "It is tactically and mathematically very difficult to resurrect the incident in which all five Hunters in a hard turn were claimed to have been shot down in a 270-degree turn in 23 seconds" .

PAF Cdre S.Sajad Haider have demolished Alam's claim saying, “Logically, since the five were claimed to have been shot down in 23 seconds, then they should all have crashed in close proximity. The conjecture that all the rest could have crashed after 8-9 minutes of flying is superfluous and unworthy of the official PAF history.” The PAF’s 1988 history is surprisingly silent about the names. In fact, the PAF 1988 history does not even list the names of the five IAF pilots.”

This is not to say the Pakistanis were chumps. On the contrary, they were excellent flyers and gunners. However, PAF pilots seemed to have underestimated Indian resolve, and also believed their President Ayub Khan’s claim that one Pakistani was equal to three Indians.

Religious fanaticism was also seen rearing its ugly head in the PAF, with many pilots believing they were under divine protection. Alam, for instance, became an Islamic fundamentalist and berated his fellow officers and seniors who consumed alcohol. Not surprisingly, he was sidelined on the amusing allegation that he could not read or write. Post retirement, he lives like a mullah, a virtual recluse. Had he been a real war hero, he would not be treated in so humiliating a manner.

British writer John Fricker was commissioned by the PAF to write a book, in which Fricker eulogised the Pakistanis. His ‘Battle for Pakistan – The Air War of 1965’ made it to the stores only in 1979 because he couldn’t find a publisher. But because he couldn’t narrate his tales soon enough, Fricker wrote an article titled “30 Seconds Over Sargodha” which was published in ‘Aeroplane’ magazine.

Fricker’s article popularised Alam’s claim in the West, where they gleefully accepted such fiction as truth. There was a huge sense of satisfaction in the West at India’s apparent failure.

The people of Pakistan had to be assured their air force's super image. Peace !!

Pakistan govt weak, recent protests have emboldened extremists: US

(The time has almost come to seize the nukes of this rogue artificial state called Terroristan)

WASHINGTON: The US feels that the civilian government in Pakistan is "weak" and the Army's role in ending the recent protests by hardline religious parties in the country has "emboldened" the extremists, a senior Trump administration official has said.

Pakistan last month witnessed countrywide protests by hardline religious groups after a reference to the Prophet Muhammad was left out of a revised version of the electoral oath.

The protesters called off the demonstrations after Law Minister Zahid Hamidresigned, meeting one of their key demands. A top Pakistani court had criticised the Army's role to mediate the agreement to end the protests that claimed the lives of six people and injured over 100 others.

"We have seen unhelpful relationships between the military and some of the hardline Islamist parties. We are observing...what happened and what role was played by the military. There is concern that the way these protests ended in a way has emboldened extremism and extremists in Pakistan," the official told PTI.

Observing that the "civil-military tension" in the country is "not helpful", the official speaking on condition of anonymity said: "The government, right now, is pretty weak. This was shown by the recent protest."

The official rued that the handling of protests had made it easier in Pakistan for people to levy blasphemy charges which are very unhelpful.

There are dozens of Pakistanis on death row for alleged blasphemy in public.

"They feel they can take the law into their own hands and continue to levy blasphemy charges, which is unhelpful," said the official.

The freedom of speech, religion, and human rights inside Pakistan is getting worse, the official added.

The White House official further warned that there would be "repercussions" for any military coup in Pakistan, which has a history of such dictatorship at frequent intervals.

"I think the repercussions of military coup would be very great," the official said.

Not only the US-Pakistan relationship would be disrupted, all kinds of sanctions would come into play in case of a military coup.

"It would be very unhelpful," the official said, but quickly added "at this point of time I'm not convinced that the military is seeking to overturn the government."

But, the military certainly seeks to retain the power that they have within the Pakistani system.

"It would just be extremely unhelpful to see the military try and form the government again," the official said, hoping the upcoming general elections in Pakistan would be held on schedule next year.

The relations between Pakistan's civilian government and the powerful Army have long been fraught, with the military ruling the country for nearly half of its 70-year history.

"We're hopeful that there will be election in Pakistan as scheduled to be. And we recognise there may be some political uncertainties leading up to that election. But I think it's very important that that election is held and that Pakistan demonstrates to the world and to its own people that it continues to be a functioning democracy," the official said.

To celebrate birthday of Prophet Muhammad, Pakistanis setup mock graves of Ahmadis along with posters displaying death threats. Ahmadis are considered ‘non-Muslim’ under Pakistani law, majority of Muslims consider them heretics

In a way what these people are getting was due to the them where not they at the forefront of the Pakistan movement now let them enjoy there Pakistan I for one will not shed a tear for them

Social activist ‘goes missing’ in Lahore

Raza Mahmood, a convener of Aghaz-i-Dosti, a friendship initiative between the youth of India and Pakistan, went to his residence after a meeting with friends on Saturday but was never heard of after that.

Probe demanded into killing of ATI attacker ‘disarmed’ by student

The opposition parties in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday demanded inquiry into the killing of a terrorist, who was allegedly disarmed and locked up in a room by a student during the Friday’s attack on the Agriculture Training Institute, Peshawar.“The police instead of arresting the attacker opened fire at the attacker and killed him in the dormitory”She said the police had spoiled evidence by killing the attacker and that the arrest of the terrorist would have provided intelligence agencies with clues to reach handlers, planners and masterminds of the attack on the institute.

Senate committee to question recovered missing persons on who abducted them

The Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights on Thursday decided to summon recovered missing persons for an in-camera session to ask them directly who they had been picked up by.

The committee also decided that once the victims have recorded their statements, representatives of the apex intelligence agencies ─ Inter-Services Intelligence, Military Intelligence and the Intelligence Bureau ─ will be summoned before the committee and asked to explain their actions.

Briefing the committee during today's session, the additional interior secretary of Balochistan said that there are currently 136 people missing in the province. The secretary said that 120 people on the list have criminal records.

He added that bodies of 27 people have so far been found, while 104 people have been recovered alive. He added that attempts were being made to gather information on those who had returned home but had not been willing to record statements on the matter.

He added that some of the names on the list of missing persons were incorrect and, therefore, had been removed by the head of the Commission on Enforced Disappearances.

"We do not know who is behind the enforced disappearances," the secretary said. "In one or two cases, the relatives of the missing persons have blamed the agencies."

Senator Nasreen Jalil, who was presiding over the committee's session today, said that recovered missing persons should be called in and asked who picked them up. She said the committee could then call members of agencies and present the facts before them, and tell them that "this practice must now end".

Senator Farhatullah Babar said: "We all know who is picking them up but we don't make that information public."

Senator Jehanzeb Jamaldini demanded that the ISI, MI and IB be summoned in relation to the matter of enforced disappearances.

"Whoever is picking up these people is stronger than state institutions," Senator Babar said, demanding that the missing persons commission be dissolved and replaced with a new one.

"This matter is bringing disrepute to the country," the committee agreed.

According to the Inquiry Commission on Enforced Disappearances, 728 Pakistanis were added to the ‘missing persons’ list in 2016 ─ the highest number in at least six years ─ bringing the total to 1,219.

Disappearances of social activists have continued unabated in 2017, with five high-profile abductions of social media activists triggering nationwide protests earlier this year.

While four of them were later returned, Syed Samar Abbas, president of the Civil Progressive Alliance Pakistan, remains missing.

More recently, Zeenat Shahzadi, a journalists pursuing the case of a missing Indian citizen in Pakistan, was reported to have returned after remaining missing since 2015.

Although news of her return was confirmed by the former head of the Commission of Inquiry into Enforced Disappearances and her mother a few weeks ago, the current whereabouts of Shahzadi and her family are unknown.

Hafiz Saeed, his aide laud ISI in Pakistan for humiliating Kulbhushan's family

A brazen and belligerent Hafiz Saeed showed how he can freely and fearlessly address public meetings in Pakistan.

He praised the agency for spotting a "suspicious" object in Kulbhushan Jadhav's wife Chetankul's shoes.

A video shows the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) co-founder and his trusted aide Amir Hamza addressing a public meeting a mere 3 kilometres from the headquarters of the Pakistan Army (GHQ), in Rawalpindi and praising the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for spotting a "suspicious" object in Kulbhushan Jadhav's wife Chetankul's shoes.
