Pakistan nukes not safe, says former minister Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's nuclear weapons are not safe under the present PPP dispensation, country's former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said, evoking an angry response from the government, which rejected his contention as "baseless".

Qureshi said, Pakistan's nuclear programme was not safe under President Asif Ali Zardari's leadership. The ex-PPP leader has recently parted company with the ruling party and announced joining Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party.

It seems like they have a draft statement always ready in case someone says anything.

Media : We have heard that Pakistan has...
Pak : We DENY... Pakistan has no hand in it.
Media : Sir, we wanted to say that we have heard that Pakistan has given MFN status to India and decided to export 20 kg aloo/pyaaz and now you are denying that as well.
