Last month's fire at a 'security installation' in Kahuta, Pakistan, did not grab world headlines but it presents a scary picture, according to an assessment by the Indian government.

Kahuta is the hub of the neighbouring country's nuclear weapons programme as it houses a uranium enrichment plant and a short-range missile fabrication facility.

On alert: India has been wary of Pakistan's nuclear power since last year's terror attack near the Karachi nuclear facility, pictured above

India has always been wary of Pakistan's nuclear weapons falling into the hands of extremist groups, particularly in the backdrop of last year's terror attack near Karachi's nuclear facility.

Highly placed government sources claimed that a multiprogramme research institute managed and operated under close scrutiny of the Pakistan army was damaged in the fire.

Yet, no word is available on the incident till date from the Pakistani establishment, except that lightning may have been responsible for it.

The Indian assessment also points to a series of incidents that took place in and around Kahuta around the same time.

Days after the fire, two terrorists were arrested from the area near the Kahuta Research Laboratory.

One of them is reportedly from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and the other is from the Bajaur tribal agency, sources reported.

If terrorists somehow manage to get a nuclear weapon from Pak then top 5 targets would be-

    1. USA
    2. Israel
    3. India
    4. Afghanistan (not sure)
    5. China (possibly for Uighur's freedom)

The below is more likely, US is too far to effectively use nukes :-

    1. India (the best and softest state it can attack)
    2. Israel (same as attacking US)
    3. US (try and get 101% guarantee for removal of country like Pakistan from the map)

    These 2 are high unlikely:-
    4. Afghanistan (not sure)
    5. China (possibly for Uighur's freedom)[/QUOTE]

Yeah but US and Israel are in the top of Terrorists' hit list, and they are the top 2 declared enemies of 'Islam'. Yet it depends on which terror organization gets nuke, if Al-qaeda then US or Israel, if LeT then probably India.

fire can be for various reason. Since Pakistan is military run country, you can't expect to much info about this fire, what ever be the reason for the same, specially when Pakistani nukes are high on the list of terrorists and of number one concen for Uncle and their plans to secure Pakistani nukes.

And then why did Pakistan arrest extremists from near the facility? This shows Pakistans facilities are insecure and the world should intervene and de-nuke Pakistan. Clearly, Pakistan is sliding into extremism and unable to protect itself.
Dont worry, the world & India will rule you guys better than your usual Army-PPP-Nawaz combo.
