I go to my sworn enemies house and I tell him - You are not an a$$hole. I then walk away. My enemy feels happy that I said he was not an a$$hole.

Does that sound like a complement I gave to my enemy to everyone here?

Congress raps Mani Shankar Aiyar for talking to Hafiz Saeed on TV show - The Times of India

Congress frowned upon Rajya Sabha MP Mani Shankar Aiyar for appearing on a television show with 26/11 main accused and Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed, advising that situations where leaders have to interact with enemies of the country are best avoided.

Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said, "Propriety requires that such situation be avoided. I am sure Aiyar was not endorsing his actions but one should avoid public interaction with a man who is involved in actions against humanity and India."

The public disapproval was Congress's way of indicating that it did not appreciate the articulate parliamentarian "interacting" on a chat show in Pakistan with Saeed, who also heads Jamaat-ud-Dawa - LeT's overtly religious wing -- and is the motivating force behind anti-India elements across the border.

The best reply of Mani Shankar would have to say he cannot share the "stage" with a terrorist and walked off the interview.

Once the separatist movement in Baluchistan picks up more pace after the discussion Committee on Foreign Affairs it is going to have repercussions across Pakistan which is going to be a catalyst to prove Mani Shankars assertion to be wrong. These countries where religion is supreme over the civil society there can be no internal peace whatsoever. It is like a tinder box ready to be set on fire by lunatics who do not want to accept the minorities or people with liberal outlook. One can not mix oil with water no matter how sincere part of the society is.

Mani shankar Aiyar should share the house with terrorist leader Hafiz just to learn what kind of values they abide by on daily basis.

Pakistan is already an example of a failed rightist nation.

In Pakistan we have a great example that shows how religious nationalism is nothing more than horsecrap.

Wrong.

Pakistan can be an universal example only if all religions are same on all levels.

Pakistan is an example of failed (or failing) Islamic rightist nation.

Israel is also a nation created in the name of religion..but they are not failed.

p.s.; move this post too to relevant threads.

Not sure where to move this post :noidea:

OT again, but Pakistan is an example of nation which doesn't have control of it's ideology. Mullah Iran has been far more successful than Pakistan, Israel also owns it's ideology.

Pakistan is just a wannabe thekedar, but that doesn't mean that real thekedars don't exist.

Pakistan is a failed State: US Congressman to Gilani

Washington: US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has written a letter to Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, condemning the recent violence in Balochistan and has called the country a "failed state".

Congressman Rohrabacher, in his letter, says, "It has become increasingly clear to members of the US Congress that Pakistan is a failed state and no amount of US aid money will ever change that," reports The Express Tribune.

Rohrabacher, in the letter, cites media reports that policemen killed four people in "unprovoked and indiscriminate" firing during a raid on a house in Balochistan. He called it "yet another example in a seeming never ending line of state sponsored violence targeting the Balochi people".

Rohrabacher warned that US aid assistance for Pakistan will dry up once US forces leave Afghanistan, and Pakistan's leverage over the US will diminish as a result.

"It is clear that the Pakistani military and intelligence services have for years diverted money intended to help the people of Balochistan, and the other provinces of Pakistan, into funding terrorism and buying weapons to repress their own people," he said.

In his letter, Rohrabacher says that until Pakistan's government and military deny ethnic groups in the country their right to self-determination, the country's future will "remain bleak and marred by political violence". He added that he has long held India to the same standard as well.

The letter says, "The Baloch people have a right to choose their own political structure and America will no long (sic) play a willing role in helping your government to oppress them."

Prior to this letter, Rohrabacher had introduced a house concurrent resolution, asking for the Baloch people to be given the right to self-determination.

see America never cares what happens outside its country, till its not against its interests.same here with balochistan..

the important thing is human right abuses pointed in letter.that's bad .i read in some forum that primeministerial candidate( imran khan )saying the same conditions existing in the country now which he saw when he was in today's Bangladesh before partition..

THE funniest part is Americans telling that "funds to Pakistan will dry up after Americans leave Afghanistan"

they now the best how to ditch and when to ditch.

by the way how much funding do they give Pakistan

does they mean they also want to cut non material help also??

Why pakistan is a failed state??

1) It's economy is a disaster & it' people dont have money to buy an underwear for it's own ,but still they would buy chinese pirated weapons to counter india

2) It's people are god gifted terrorists & they are born backstabbers they backstab india in 1947 ,they backstab USA in sep 11 in WTC attack & they backstab china in xinjiang province

3) Their people are fanatic porn addicts even they cant control themselves while watchiing animal porn in NAT geo channel but meanwhile they issue fatwa against VEENA MALLICK for posing naked

4) It's army sell it's people lives for US dollars allowing US drone attacks & cant protect itself from any terrorist attack but there people says "PAK FAUJ TUJHE SALAM"
