Pakistanis do not want to admit that Pakistan is divided by Islam.
Quite apart from the fact that non Muslims are being eliminated gradually, Islamic faultlines run through Pakistan. These faultlines were suppressed or ignored by the delusion that all will stand together to fight the black kafir, India.
The Pakistan army (which is the main power in Pakistan) and the Pakistan government (which is only an impotent face) can do nothing about the killing of shias and Ahmedis without losing art of their own support base. As if this were not enough, there is now internecine intra-sunni warfare going on, with the TTP ("bad Taliban") gunning for the "moderate Muslims" of the Pakistani army and goverenment.
The "Liberal Muslims" of Pakistan are the wealthier ones who want something less than sharia. They keep claiming they want sharia but are unwilling to impose it in its full glory with every man and his uncle having his own interpretation about justice and women's rights. If you look back at the history of Islam, no matter how cruel they were towards non Muslims, Islam maintained a powerful justice system for Muslims based on major seminaries whose clerics would pass judgment to be followed by all Muslims under the control of that school. In India of course we had Deoband and Barelvi schools which Pakistan inherited. But Pakistanis did not develop any new schools of their own. They simply sank into anarchy - funded by Saudi petrodollars and Wahhabi influence.
Pakistanis of the army and RAPE class do not want women to cover their faces or stay at home without an education, but they want mujahids to kill Indians or die trying. This is a serious rift in Pakistan. The mujahids/Taliban have realized that killing Indians or dying by Indian bullets makes no difference to the Pakistan army and elite, who are not going to allow sharia the way the pious ones have been given to understand.
The sad part here for Christians and other non Muslims is that the Pakistani establishment pretend that they are liberal towards other religions and pretend that "their Islam" is liberal, but they are too scared to protest against people who kill minorities. On balance the "liberal Pakistanis" are not allies of moderation and minorities as they claim in English language media. They are enemies.
Even if you provide artifacts for some aspect, they deny that up front
