I can assure you that China will have military base in Gwadar within a decade for navy and airforce which will further reduce chances of foreign misadventures in the province.

Would love to see Chinese naval group stationed there witj an aircraft carrier and muclear subs :)

Being worlds largest arms importer makes you the biggest ghulam of the west with $15 billion per year flowing out of the country each year.

UK and Germany have US bases, Japan and South Korea have American bases.
Chinese bases in Pakistan should be seen in same light. No shame about it, its a result of long and time tested alliance which has never harmed us.

Pak-China economic forum has just ended and more than 60 Chinese companies are willing to invest in various sectors.
Gwadar will become another Dubai in few decades.

You are ignorant if you believe that. Gwadar is to be connected with all major cities in Balochistan and rest of Pakistan by road and rail link. Gaddani is another city where billions will be invested. Gwadar is to create 100.000 jobs in next three years.

Has PRC done that anywhere before. Why the special treatment for Pakistan. Please mention examples and what type of deals are in place. Are they non-military.

Gwadar is there for military reasons not economic. And PRC knows from experience that it prefers to have control and they would not trust the Pakis. The question is not Dubai. The question is does Pakistan want to become another North Korea in a few decades.

How would you feel if Pakistan was like North Korea to PRC (on a serious note).

How about you let US bases in Pakistan??????

Say at least 50,000 US troops stationed permanently in Islamabad, Karachi,Rawalpindi,Gwadar etc?

Would be a great example of long and time tested alliance which has never harmed Pakis.

Comparison with North Korea is merely a projection of the negative Indian mindset. Pakistan and China have been close allies for more than five decades and we have sofar never suffered any losses against China.
Pakistan will never become North Korea, therefor we are too big and powerf country with a huge geo-political importance.

Last 2 times when you tried your luck on Kashmir 1948 & 1965 you people lost your one half of pakistan in 1971

and in 80's Siachen you lost

90's you failed to conquer kargil:scared2:

again try no harm keep on trying all the very best:thumb::lol:

Yes politicians are corrupt , that is common in through out the world , but Armed force fights the war not the stupid politicians:lol:

kahin iss baar app baluchistan peh hath naa dho meteh mithreh:sad:
Neo is descendant of Mahmud of Ghazni who attacked and plundered India 17 times only. Now these guys openly say they will give thousand cuts (means attack thousand times till they themselves bleed to death)..

So be careful .

They are all so eager for Sahadat in the homeland of their ancestors (India) to go straight to Jannat via Punjab or Kashmir . Look Kasab came all the way to Mumbay to have his Biriyani and Kabab... and went to Janat from there...

LOL! "geopolitical importance" is correct. In terms of terrorism and as a condom for USA and as a whore for Saudi.

The Gwadar-Xinjiang route will never replace sea lanes for China. The promotion of Pakistan as an alternate route for central Asian resources is a pipe dream. No such route has existed in the past and no such route will be opened in future.

Pakistan is just a strip of land on either side of the Indus river. In the centuries when only land transport was possible the area that is called Pakistan served as a migration route in and out of mainland India. After sea lanes and air transport became common, the importance of teh area called "Pakistan" as a link has diminished. If it was part of India it would have been the most backward state - no better that it is now. We would have had BIMARUP - with the "P" being Pakhanastan. Even some BIMARU states are getting better but not Pakistan

It's not about the rich Paki English speakers or army of Pakistan. It's not even India. It is the 180 million poor who will call the shots. Pakistan's population is growing faster than it's economy and China ain't gonna be able to support Pakistan no matter how much Pakis grovel and praise the friendship

The Strait of Hormuz us the key to the success of the Gwadar China route for oil, which is China's paramount interest.
