nitesh,
this seems like a trap for India set by Obama using his favourite pet Pakistan. Now, that Pakistan has made this 'offer', Obama will put pressure on India to sign CTBT and NPT since there is 'no more nuclear threat' to India!
This is going on from a long time. When we have not signed for such things till now be rest assured we never will :).

Country flag
5 countries with nuke in NPT, 5 countries with nukes outside NPT (including Iran) is this treaty still viable anymore? or is Obama just diverting issues from solving the economic troubles at home?

Strange, couple of months back somebody made a similar statement at the other place about the prospect of Great Britain doing away with its nukes. Crazy idlers indeed.
Major, we can't even affort the blue touch paper to launch them. Our present Government is abymal and is failing in its duty to protect its peoples.

No, I cannot see any Country with Nuke's 'getting rid' of them in todays climate. Remember the old saying..."keep your friends close but your enemies closer" Trust nobody.

Well said dave lukins

BTW Pakistan must realise that Pak is not the end of the world for India as in the case of Pakistan, India wont strike on a non nuclear adversary with nukes so if they surrender nukes they gets a assurance of non utilisation of nukes from India's side, so they can go with their plan without us involved, they are encouraged.
