Pak politicians want to resolve Kashmir — military won't allow this: Arif Jamal

    *****************************************************

The manipulative power of the Army speaks out loud and clear.

Indeed, while other countries have an Army, in Pakistan, the Army has a country.

The duplicitous attitude of Imran Khan is so evident.

The man is a snake in the grass.

Peace with Pakistan is a gone case.

It is waste of time and resources for any government in India to contemplate it. If Indians are not ready to be at war with Pakistan at all the time on different fronts including geographical fronts, then we seriously need to educate ourselves.

The goodwill gestures with Pakistan and CBM that we witness, being done by different governments in power, should be seen as a realpolitik to keep geo-political steering of things at ease, not as a hope of peace deal striking between both.

Having said that I wouldn't mind Pakistani PM being summoned at short notice and treated like a school boy by PM of heavy weight India and told behind doors of Hyderabad house to behave or will be fixed.

Nope, Neo can't shed more light on this situation either.

The article just proves that freedom is just another illusion in Pakistan which is based on pure hatred for India.

If they resolve Kashmir issue they won't have any reason to control the country and proper democracy would take place. People would start asking questions which would focus on development not India and the military cannot afford that can it.

As they say, let us wake up and smell the coffee if we haven't yet!

When the politicians are in command, then the Army won't allow a resolution. When a dictator wants to resolve, the hardline factions within the Army won't allow a resolution. When a hardliner general is in command then the Jihadi elements won't allow a resolution, and just in case the Jihadi elements were to govern Pakistan, which they haven't yet, one wonders what their excuse will be then.

Moral of the story, like a dog who tries to catch his tail, and keeps going in circles, we are no different searching for that illusionary peace, and we haven't yet understood that none of them want peace, there exists an industry of terrorism that none of them will give up on.

    What a convenient alibi !!
There are far too many people in Pakistan who've forgotten how else to live and how else to identify themselves.

From the Indian POV peace effort/resolving issue with Pakistan is a gone case, enuff tried and no more expectation unless we see some considerable effort from the other side :dude:
