From what i noticed these two days at UNGA, Pakistan diplomatic contingent was the only country with uniformed military officer sitting along with them. i didn't notice any other country having a uniformed army officer sitting along with their diplomatic team.

I think this itself speaks volumes about their foreign policy.

Pakis in UN behave like an old whore which still wants to attract people. pakis are left with no issues to raise in UN except the K issue, this is largely to satisfy the homegrown crowd of jehadis and terrorists (i can see the paki tv going crazy if shariff doesnt bring up the k issue). where as it is largely understood in the inernational and domestic paki arena that k issue has to be dissolved bilaterally, and most of them know that paki cant get hands on kashmir in ANY WAY POSSIBLE.
It is funny to see such an ill advised PM, making comments of human rights violations in J&K, he must know that people of J&K have been electing their own state govt, and their own MPs since past 6 decades, where as untill recently pakis didnt achieve a complete elected govt to govt transfer of power.
and i can completely imagine Modi bashing pakis on K issue or he may just prefer to say very little (indicating that kashmir is not an issue for Indians but terrorism is a important issue).
pakis know that they cant have fatah e kashmir (or whatever that is) and entire world knows that- its just a SIX DECADE ITCH FOR PAKIS.

The army obviously bailed out Sharif from the political crisis caused by Qadri + Khan on condition that he stop his proIndia overtures. The quid pro quo is obvious. No point blaming him.... poor guy. Its like the Gulf countries every year passing resolution demanding that Iran handover a couple of little islands of the Persian Gulf and forgetting the issue for the rest of the year. How couldn't he rake up the K issue on such a big stage and hope to land back in Islamabad safely?
