83% of production including Block II/III is projected to be transferred to PAC by 2016. Only imported parts will be WS-13/RD-93D from China or RD-93MA from Russia if that deal goes through along with some other components that we don't build at PAC. All in all, this project is going to benefit our "paint ship" greatly in industrial knowledge.

If yes, could our Pakistani members explain why there is substantial down-gradation in the revised budget?
With such low budget what was PAC doing in 2012-2013? Trying to find excellency in paint job?

i am not getting your question.please be more clear
right now except the fuselage the rest of the airframe is manufactured in pakistan not because we dont have the capability but because of the deal signed for the first batches,because CAC also need to earn from PAF inducting the JFT.
but incase of 2nd batch the target of local manufacturing is set at beyond 80%

PAC nawabshah a new facility of size 4-5 times more than the kamra PAC is just recently completed.with more better infra.
may be later on JFT production is shifted to that facility for domesti and foreign export orders

Does it say PAF have all the funds and no constraints for JFT?
Does it say PAF have addl. unused funds to pursue projects like PAC-PAD 1?
