For me , it has to be punjab.....with a capital P......

Reason........the vibrancy of its culture ,the industriousness of its people ,their achievements in bollywood..........

..............and above all , for a military-minded person like me ,their contribution to the armed forces ,and defence of the country........

    Their capacity for generating wealth.......

Their zest for life , inspite of a history littered with heartbreaking misfortunes.........

Their physical strength ,and their love for sport........

    Their nonvegetarian habits

    Their never say die spirit.......

And also they are an extremely good-looking people

    Whats your choice ?

Sikkimese and Arunachalese for their simple,down-to-earth and religious way of life.

Gultis for the delicious pickles they make.

Maharashtrians - for being proud of their identity just like us.

My first choice would be Gujaratis, for their entrepreneurial skills, their contribution to the Indian economy cannot be overstated.

I also like the Bengalis for their love of arts and their laid back lifestyle.

This is silly. I don't like people more because they are from a particular state. This is on a case by case, or person to person basis.

I like some, I don't like some only because of their personal characteristics and has nothing to do with the state they came from their religion, caste, social incomes etc.
