Yusuf, you're a mod.

You're violating the following rule, since this thread has nothing to do with Xizang, Xinjiang, or Menggu:

This is a rule you wrote yourself. Please don't be a hypocrite. Thanks!

EDIT: @Singh @Kunal Biswas @Decklander @ice berg @cinoti @badguy2000 come look.

Check the title again. Comparing china with USSR. Soviet Union consisted of nations within nations and so does China and both regimes were/is brutal.
Nothing OT in that.

Disagree. Tibet, East Turkestan and Mongolia.
still different.......russian as a race only occupies around 80% of population in the current russia.....you can inmage how little the figure was in the USSR era.......

the point is a strong dominant race can prohibit many things that can creat certain problems to country like USSR.......

senior members like Ray and yusuf never obey the rules made by themselves.

just say what you wish to say, no need to give a damn about the rules or the topics, you should learn that from Indians.

xiongdi, calm down.
those rules are just like shit coming out of Indians big asshole, the Indians dont take the rules seriously, why should we?

your inability to understand the basic norms of a free and fair discussion may stem from the fact you live ins a system where free speech is totally disallowed - or it may be family upbringing or just plain individual inability

the title clearly and specifically mentions USSR and CHINA - so your refusal to see what's plain is just - well stubbornness

which is a more polite way of sying something else

as for your rude and vulgar description of the most populous ethnicity in mankind, ( our ethnicity includes pak , bangla and some others ) - i think the moderators should consider awarding you a temporary ban or some other suitable penalty - till you show improvement

The title is much broader than the article in the OP, and you know it. Quit being disingenuous, and learn to lead by example instead of leading by bans.

The title was a direct lift from the OP article. I once posted a thread with a title that differed from the linked article and got banned for it.

If I put those two things together, then by that logic, Roma, I can now go to every thread with a vague title and drag it in whatever direction I want.

If that's the case, then @cinoti, @nimo_cn, @ice berg, we should just do that on every single DFI thread with a vague title and do exactly that.

Nimo, this forum is not indicative of 'Indians'. Let's not generalize behaviors across a nation when what we have here are simply a small sliver of the Indian population.

Fair enough, Singh.

Although if that's the attitude this forum wants to take, I must respectfully decline to participate in further discussion. You can find me at sinodefenceforum.com if you wish to interact.

What a lovely lady, so kind and so nice to remind me to stick to the title, why dont you do the same courtesy to the senior Indian members who have been constantly posting off topic stuff.

ban me if you wish, that is the common way to deal with dissident. it is not like i was not banned. the fact is that my latest ban just expired this morning.

do you know why the moderators muted me? because i was posting about homosexuality in India when Ray was posting about homosexuality in China.

you want us to believe in the rules set by Indians? come on, lady, dont be that naive.

Good comeback, @Yusuf.
I love how mods cheering each others up when they break their own rules.

The title says clearly ONE thing China USSR dont have common. Emphasizes on ONE.

When you read the article, it is pretty clear what context the author was thinking.
Quote:
For all the talk of new aircraft carriers, advanced missiles, and a blue-water navy, China's military modernization is nowhere near Soviet levels or anywhere near where it could harm its economy.

But, hey this is a private forum. Do as you like. But dont pretend you dont make your own rules as you go.
It is not new that mods censors posts they dont like by labelling them as OT but apparently going OT themselves are ok.

There are more than one thing the USSR and PRC don't have in common. Just because you wrote a spurious title, does not mean everyone has to stick to it. I can establish multiple things that are not in common.

  1. For example, the participating republics (Soviet Socialist Republics or SSRs) in the Union of SSR were all sovereing republics who could secede any time they wanted. That is not the case with the participating regions in the PRC, for example, East Turkestan or Tibet.
  2. Another example, the participating republics in USSR retained their original names. For example, Turkmenistan was called Turkmen SSR; Uzbekistan was called the Uzbek SSR. Au contraire, PRC tends to impose ridiculous names on their regions, for example, East Turkestan is called Xinxiang, which basically is meaningless banter.

Now, do you see how stupid your title that talks about "ONE" difference (thank you for using all caps for that) is?

So what did you learn today? Next time you criticize the staff, make sure others cannot poke holes into your own argument. Moreover, public criticism of staff is absolutely not allowed. India might be a democracy, but DFI is not.

I will not tolerate any more public criticism of staff. Let this be clear to everyone.

quoted verbatim with order reversed

so there we are ........ ethnic slurs , which were totally uncalled for - unable to make a point without resorting to vulgarities.

I must respectfully decline to participate in further discussion. You can find me at sinodefenceforum.com if you wish to interact.
believe it or not I RESpect your style - nothing sarcastic there .....i wish the other could take that example - i dare say this forum would be a much better place without the latter
as for t_co ....when you are ready to accept dfi rules , then, speaking for myself only, i would welcome you back !

India might be a democracy, but DFI is not.
pmaiatra-ji even in a democracy - the dignity of every ethnic group is protected and the kind of ethnic filthy slurs seen above would NEVER be tolerated
