I think Russia Had the Maximum No of Nukes than US
Soviet Union did have more nukes than the US. They have been steadily decreasing their nukes.

@sesha_maruthi27, it doesn't matter if you have a 50kt bomb or a 50mt bomb. It's a deterrent either way. Tsar Bomba was not an operational bomb.

What situation? There can be no worse situation than what existed during the Cold War when they had ten times the warheads on hair trigger alert and still didn't use them.

Use what? Russia does not have any Tsar Bomb's in their current arsenal, and even their 25MT weapons for R-36 missiles have been removed from service. Chinese are currently only ones who have 3-5MT warheads in active use for their DF-5 ICBMs, and those are currently being replaced with under 1MT weapons.

600-700kt warhead for DF-31 and 100-300kt warhead for DF-31A.

DF5 was never operational

DF-5 - China Nuclear Forces

Although it is widely reported that the 5-megaton nuclear warheads for the DF-5/CSS-4 nuclear missiles are not "mated" to the missiles, but rather stored nearby, some sources suggest that US intelligence does not have a high confidence understanding of this question ["Inside The Ring" By Bill Gertz and Rowan Scarborough Washington Times July 28, 2000]. Although it might be assumed that the DF-5 deployment complex would include a nuclear weapons storage area, it is not evident that technical intelligence could identify signatures to determine the precise whereabouts of such a small number of nuclear weapons.

Not clear why you quote globalsecurity when you got far better sources out there:
According to the National Air Intelligence Center, as of 1998 the deployed DF-5 force consisted of "fewer than 25" missiles. From early 1999 to 2008 the total deployed DF-5 force was generally estimated at about 20 missiles.

The threat with Pakistani nukes will worsen now that Taliban will be coming back to Kabul and to be soon marching to Islamabad. Forget India, Iran and even Saudis will not want that to happen.

our Missiles shown to be only A3, Prithvi and Brahmos, but they failed to take into account A1 which is Pak specific, A2 for China and Prithvi 2 which is long range version along with Dhanush.

Saudis will be keeping a close watch on Taliban march because anything happens to Pakistan they will be under the earliest to be threatened, even more than India.

Nuclear weapons: Who has what?

More than two dozen countries have nuclear power, but only a few have nuclear weapons or are suspected of pursuing nuclear weapons. Click on a country below to learn more about their nuclear programs.

* Iran maintains that it is enriching uranium for civilian energy purposes only, but the International Atomic Energy Agency says Iran has not been cooperating enough for the agency to verify whether the intent is solely for peaceful means. As a result, the U.N. Security Council and a number of Western nations have placed economic and arms-related sanctions on Iran.
