my assumption is that the list was compiled through a pretty extensive survey over major countries. you mentioned many countries in your post, i am not sure if every one of them was scored, but i am very positive that country as big as India must be covered in the survey. i believe my logic behind this deduction is pretty simple and robust.

The IQ is for reference at most. I don't think the Hongkongers are smarter despite the high IQ score. It only reflects the reality that Hongkoners have greater chance to interact with people from all over the world. Likewise in Singapore.

I would like to suggest we leave the IQ thing alone and get back to the topic. I thought there is very little chance to find a pure Han these days. China experienced several major people migration in the history. One of the very prominent features of Han's gene is to find, where else, in the small toe. The nail of the small toe splits with one big and one very small piece. Chinese members here should check their toe to confirm if they have any Han gene in them.
