Idiocrisy is unabated now. Another test for the people and their senses. Would see what they choose between common sense and fatwas.
This is a very regressive situation developing all over the globe.
One one hand we have mankind reaching out to stars and marching into newer era of modernization.
And then at the same time, diktats are issued for women to not buy cucumber as (to God knows whom) it looks like a Penis and there is widespread violence because of stupid videos.
The insane reactions in each case are by no possible means comparable to the original action.
I don't know where we're headed to.

    Regards,
    Virendra

I think our states were secular states , from when did states of India started becoming Hindu or Christian or Sikh??

Most corrupt is our media! They are uneducated bunch of Idiots , they remotely have Good command over any of the Social Sciences nor do they educate their staff about any latest journal on politico-socialism

Ahh... what irony that football was invented in Christian countries but it is a Church that is banning the sport.

That too in a non-Abrahamic country!

A foolish diktat by the Church.

They should go and live in Noah's Ark!

"twaddi" to be phonetically precise :p
    Literally means "Your".
Its actually a very light swear word till its just "ohh twaddi ta main ..." as mostly it ends there.
Further words would take it to next level. ;)

    .... and secular fury raged

In Mizoram, church bans football on sunday. It is sabath you know. All our seculars were beaming.

In Kerala, some schools close on jumma. Our seculars aprroved fully.

Then the Shankaracharyas gave a united call to close meat and liquor shops on Mangalvars. And all the secular fury raged. Shankaracharyas were threatened with prosecutions, death threats were flying but seculars beamed.
