Quite a stupid decision. But I guess his party has already split.

the moment the results were out his days were numbered.

His decision to leave BJP was perhaps the dumbest decisions of all times.

His MLAs must have threatened him of leaving JDU and joining BJP, hence resignation in advance to project himself as honest person wanting re-election.

The maya of "secularism" can ruin you. This change in the Indian political landscape is definitely a positive one. :D

I hope Nitish contributes to governance and development even in future, he is too good a leader to fall by the wayside.

I think this is sad news as I dont think there are good leaders like NiKu in Bihar. Without him, Bihar might fall back into economic ruins...

SK Modi has a good chance of becoming CM. And BJP Bihar can re-use all the Lok Sabha election materials too.

This is not a well known fact, but Sushil Kumar Modi was the main driving force behind Nitish Kumar.
the moment the two split governance took a back seat and even in Cabinet meetings ministers refused to listen to Nitish.

Remember he had to cancel series of meetings in Bihar a few months back because the locals did not allow him to enter the town.

Since we are divulging lesser known facts. SK Modi's wife is a Christian. His sons also haven't taken his surname. And he and his family live very humbly.

SK Modi will be demand in both Delhi and Patna.

Niku got his answer, but to be frank BJP having allied itself with Ram Vilas Paswan is really disappointing.

This guy is a turncoat and if I'm not mistaken he used to walk with Osama look alike to garner votes.

He resigned but did not dissolve the assembly. The latter part is pertinent.

Next should be father and son Yadav of UP and father and son of Punjab.

They miserably lost the Parliamentary elections.

Good, now that LS polls are over, BJP can poach the 50-odd JD(U) MLAs that wanted to defect, and form a Modi Sarkaar (Sushil) in Patna. If Vidhan Sabha isn't dissolved, then BJP can make those 50 resign on account of JD(U) seeking support from its arch-rival RJD.

Same with NCT-Delhi. The Vidhan Sabha is still in suspended animation. All BJP has to do is poach 6 sheep from the AAP herd, now that LS polls are over.

Delhi should be left alone on its own fate, it is swarming with AAP trolls and has more media attention. They will hijack Modi's victory honeymoon period in no time.

Bihar is a good place for poaching. Maharashtra should be next in line if VS election are still far.
